1964 : A certain Bob Robertson...
The Invention of the Italian Western

With A Fistful of Dollars, Sergio Leone (alias Bob Robertson) made the first Italian western and its success gave rise to a decade of continuous waves of the genre by the likes of Corbucci and Sollima. Lumière will screen his most iconic films, populated by individuals who are violent and offbeat, but also generous and funny.
Back for the first time in many years on the big screen in restored prints.
